MJ Botha Consulting Engineers was founded by Mr. Martin Botha in the 1980's after working mainly for GH Marais & Partners and Atlantic Thermal Products from 1971 till 1980. Since then the organization has excelled and can associated with some major clients like BMW, Sun International and Telkom to name a few. Mr. Botha has also been a forerunner in South Africa in the investigation and implementation of the following HVAC systems :

• Ice Thermal Storage
• Variable Refrigerant Volume
• Solar Energy Applications
• Heat Pump Hot Water Systems

With the principle of retaining a small organization our office has the following staff compliment :

• One Professional Engineer
• One personal assistant
• One typist
• Two CAD operators
• One technical assistant

Large mechanical projects can be handled  on a turnkey basis.

Professional Indemnity Insurance

Our PI cover is one million rand for a single claim. The Underwriters are Lloyd's and the underwriting managers are Leppard and Associates (Pty) Ltd.
